MixQ virus purification resin is mixed mode resin developed by Bogen (A Duoning Company) for isolation and purification of virus-based products. This product features a core-shell structure. The shell is hydrophilic polymer with defined pore size, due to large size, the virus particles flow through under exclusion effect, while the small impurities pass through the shell and enter the core. The core is polymethacrylate with rigid structure, together with n-octylamine as ligand, which absorbs impurities through ion exchange/hydrophobic interaction, thus separating viruses and impurities.
We provide two types of MixQ virus purification resins: MixQ700 (>MW 700,000) and MixQ400 (>MW 400,000), based on the molecular weight of size exclusion。
